Reel handling devices can be as diverse as the range of reel sizes and applications they are used for!

That is why The Reel and Shaft Handling company offers one of the widest ranges of reel handling equipment in the UK today. From simple devices to assist operators repeatedly handle small 10Kg reels, to a wide range of manual & powered reel trolleys and stackers, through reel lifter/turner's on overhead rail systems or trolleys, up to integrated conveying, manipulating and packaging systems for the largest of mill reels, we can offer a solution to fit your application and budget.

For example, the 'Pan Truck' has the ability to drive sideways into reels on the floor, lift them on top of the truck and then drive lengthways down narrow aisles to deposit the reel at floor level elsewhere. It really can drive, stop and then drive at 90 degrees to itself! Making it ideal for transporting large reels to or from converting equipment.
