During 2006, the Reel and Shaft Handling Company expanded its range vastly by becoming agents and distributors for a number of specialist handling equipment manufacturers, including, Genkinger-HUBTEX reel handling trucks, Armanni Pedestrian Stacker trucks and Kohli Industries, who manufacture high specification, high quality slitting, coating, laminating and printing machines at exceptionally competitive prices. All this was in addition to the development of its own in-house products, one of which was awarded a DTI Grant for Research & Development!

Our first order was to design & manufacture a totally unique, combined shaft extractor/re-corer/manipulator for Europe's largest film producer. Patents & other IP have been applied for. Since then, we have designed manufactured and installed a widely varying range of reel and shaft handling systems in film producers, packaging & printing companies and Paper mills.
The company’s aim is to provide our customers with cost effective, operator friendly solutions to their reel & shaft handling needs. Where practical, we will use our own existing designs and concepts, or as appropriate, good quality OEM equipment is sourced to offer a prompt and lowest cost suitable solution. We can, for example, offer high specification reelstands, slitters and rewinders at highly competitive rates.
